Teen Program-General Volunteers

YMCA of Frederick County

Volunteers in our teen programs help support and mentor our teen participants. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and want to contribute to a positive environment, we would love to hear from you. The YMCA offers many programs for teens to explore their potential and discover who they are. Our programs provide a space where teens can have fun, spend time with friends, make new connections, learn new activities, and truly be themselves. We strive to create a safe and supportive community where teens can thrive and learn to make a positive impact.

The goal for a volunteer working with teens is to organize and lead engaging activities that promote teamwork, personal growth, and community involvement among participants. Additionally, the volunteer aims to create a supportive environment where teens feel empowered to explore new interests and develop essential life skills.
